Footprint to Climate:

Climate Literacy

Under the motto ‘Leave no one behind,’ we provide knowledge and resources to enable
participants to make informed choices about adopting an environmentally and ethically
sustainable lifestyle. Participants receive the knowledge and means to grow nutritious
food and to recycle their organic waste into usable compost at school and at home.

The pilot project reaches schools, youth and the surrounding community of Namyoya Village in Mukono, Uganda. We teach environmentally and ethically sustainable plant-based ways of living in harmony with nature and about the link to modern-day slavery and its consequences. The training is conducted by 70% of survivors and 30% of climate change professionals.
