Footprint to Climate:

Sustainable Fashion

We believe that fashion can do more than just correct its previous environmental mistakes; it can also play a significant role in driving worldwide
transformation and promoting the attainment of the SDGs. Our Centre’s primary focus is to empower at-risk and repatriated survivors with
essential entrepreneurial skills, specifically in the field of sustainable or eco tailoring, promoting survivor leadership in the process.

By providing tailoring skills to survivors and implementing sustainable practices in fashion production, we promote social empowerment and environmental stewardship. Our primary project activities:

  • Creating employment opportunities for survivors of human trafficking.
  • Reducing environmental damage.
  • Providing tailoring skills to survivors and implementing sustainable practices in fashion production to promote social empowerment and environmental stewardship.
  • Raising awareness: Educating consumers, industry professionals, and the general public about the social and environmental impact of fast fashion and highlighting the benefits of supporting sustainable fashion.

As a next step, we aim to expand the program.
